FA CUP 08:28 - Mar 1 with 2901 views | WolfieAtTheBack | We should be playing the full team, no resting players and actually try and win something instead of all this messing about on minutes and red zones and i pads. I pads should be banned from football dugouts. Give us something to cheer about, we have done nothing the last few years and it's making me cross. Day out at Wembley, sat on dads's shoulders, over priced hot dog, walking down Wembley High Road, Greggs, jumpers for goal posts, Al Hamadi hat-rick, lovely.

I'm not so sure it is the right call, although I appreciate the sentiment - a win would be a big positive, and a cup run very welcome. I'd only go this route if we've given up on survival, and I've not yet, unlikely as it is.

This risk injuries is horsecrap, you can get injured in a warm up or in a premier league game. On that basis no one would ever play! [Post edited 1 Mar 17:55]

Of course it's not - yes you can get injured elsewhere, but it's bollox to say playing for more time doesn't increase the probability of injury. Simple logic. If someone's isn't playing, and have the day off, they can't get injured.

Do you honestly see it making any difference? If anything it could increase Delap's appeal, and have the opposite effect. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

If we get relegated then Delap will go regardless of whether or not we win the FA Cup. A cup win won't persuade him to waste a year in the Championship.

If he’s guaranteed European football next season then yes, there’s a stronger possibility.

True, but that was a freak situation Playing a competitive game will always have a higher probability of injury.

I think I’m right in saying Rio Ferdinand injured his knee while playing FIFA at home too.

I honestly don't see this. The lure of Premiership football with a top 6 team is always going to outweigh another season in the Championship. I'd like to think you're right, but doubt it.

While I’m in the camp of always playing the strongest team, there’s absolutely no chance we’ll win the FA Cup with the squad we have, we’re coming up against Premier League sides at this point and we’re below that level in terms of quality, and unless Forest rests their key players, Ipswich are going out on Monday.

Tuanzabe doing the washing up? Beasant with a salad cream bottle years ago. Kai Havertz, warm weather training in Dubai? Injuries can happen anywhere. Play your best team, it's what everyone did for 100+ years.

Indeed, if we are drawn at home to Preston, the semi finals beckon. Forest will probably fancy the tie too as they are the top ranked club left in the competition, although the money men would prefer a CL spot.

It’s definitely an outside bet. Tuchel’s selections between now and then will be interesting too. We have to stay up to have any real chance of keeping him, no doubt about that.

Didn't Richard Wright fall out of the loft? I want us to try something different - with Phillips presumably missing I'm leaning towards a midfield three. Forest in the perfect game to give it a go, and allow players to adjust to it in match conditions.

FA CUP on 17:38 - Mar 1 with 1521 views | Sarge | Trouble is there’s not really a clear definition on what full strength is. What many of us consider to be full strength may and does differ quite a lot from what KM thinks. Really having Palmer in goal is the only real indication of whether we’ve gone full strength or not.
