Win the Cup, definitely. What a day that would be at Wembley, and further ITFC glory etched into history forevermore.

Can't see us either winning a cup or staying up this season though sadly.

Stupid question of the day.

Win the cup all day long.

Clubs would rather finish top 4 than win the cup so not that stupid I wonder what the club would answer to that question not like us fans.

Stay up. It's what the club needs to push on long term.

We've already won the FA cup.

I also draw you to Leicester who people forget or broadly ignore won in 2021.

£2m for winning the cup
£loads m for avoiding relegation

Think that probably answers the hierarchy's position

Stay up, without question.

Get another year of PL money, build the squad and potentially higher chance of retaining KM (opposed to him being a Cup Winner with the current caliber of our squad - highly desirable).

We need to establish ourselves at the top level and the opportunities to win the cup will present themselves more readily with time. A one off fluke of a FA Cup win will not serve us us in the long term, with the exception of another star on the shirt and, admittedly, some amazing memories.

They’re not asking the club though, they’re asking fans.

Commercial position would obviously be different because it’s all about $$$

Stay up 100%
No question about it.
Whats the point of winning the cup and being relegated and having to start all over again trying to get back into the prem?

Sadly, as somebody who has great memories of the FA Cup when it was as important as the League Title, I have to say stay up. It’d give the club a chance to build and grow.

"What's the point of winning the cup?"

huh? what's the point in any of it then?

For the long term development of the club, it's an easy choice - stay in the Premier League and become established. There will then be many opportunities to win the FA cup, or play in Europe in the future.

Anyone who thinks otherwise just doesn't grasp the importance of becoming established in the EPL ASAP. It's going to get harder each season that passes. Putting the FA cup over survival this season is short-sighted.

Stay up without a doubt.

The long term benefit of staying up is more important to the club than winning the FA Cup. Avoiding relegation will mean more money and hopefully improving the ground.

Stay up.

Winning the cup would mean having to play eight European games before Christmas and would impact on our performance in Championship. We would have many Championship games to reschedule and would play twice as many midweek games as our competitors.

Sensible head on would say avoid relegation at all costs but I'm not always sensible so win the Cup of course and Fook to the money .

I'd rather stay up than win a trophy we've already won once.

If that makes me a loon so be it, I think it makes me realistic, experienced and able to see the longer term picture. Ymmv

I replied to your post so the whole thing is there for everyone to see?

I quoted the bit that confused me, the point of winning the cup is that winning things is literally the whole point of competitive sport?
