Won’t be good for us if they stay down but… 14:09 - Mar 9 with 2163 viewsSitfcB

…it’ll be bloody funny if Leeds bottle it considering the position they were in a few weeks ago.

Leeds, Leeds are falling apart again

Farke would be sacked.

Very tight at the top.

Just noticed Nodge are 6 points off the play offs now as well.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Would they still have a parachute payment next season if they fail to go up this?

I thought they won the league a few games ago against Sheffield utd............

They are one of the stronger teams and are always likely to be up there.

Though we shouldn't be "scared" of anyone if we keep.the majority of our team.

They’re getting further away each week I think. Weren’t they 3/4 points off a few weeks back?

Exactly, they will beat us twice again but would be hilarious if they lost in play offs again.

You're so negative Blue Heath, even in hypothetical situations that likely won't happen you still have us coming out second best. Cheer up, chicken!

I still find it Ipsiwichy that even when the Bantz era was well and truly over and our trajectory was set we still managed that Maidstone game and Norwich took 4 points of us. When all is good we still find some Sh!t to step in.

I know what you mean, I fully expected us to come out the wrong side of that penalty shoot out at Forest the other day. Just knew it.

I assume they’ll need to start selling if they don’t go up, now they’ll be into the final year of and reduced parachute payments. They’d still be strong, but so would any of Burnley, Sheff Utd, Leicester and Southampton.

Down to 20% in final year of parachute payments. Goes 55%, 45% then 20% of shared tv money which is ~£95m.

Did you see how much time and space players get in these championship games. They are really lacking in quality. Leeds will go up. They had six clear cut chances that on another day they take.

Always been a thing, ever since I was a kid.

Twice managed to blow 3-0 first leg leads in the UEFA Cup in the 70’s, against Barcelona & Bruges. One of the tabloids at the time coined us Slipswich, such was our ability to not only be at home to Mr Cock-up, but to invite him and pop the kettle on.

Lost two out of two penalty shoot outs in the 70’s, both in the same UEFA competition. One of them was a quarter final in Leipzig where we managed to hold out for 70 odd minutes with ten men after Mick Mills was unluckily sent off. Bear in mind, you virtually had to decapitate an opponent to see red back then.

The 1975 FA semi final fiasco could only ever happen to us. Beat the two best sides in the country and lose to West Ham in a replay, with two perfectly good goals ruled offside.

Beat Aston Villa three times during the 80/81 season without conceding a single goal to them but still lose the title to them, losing 2-1 a sh*te Middlesbrough team with it almost in our hands.

It’s what we do and always have done. Almost makes me love us more.

You read it negative, the negative was actually a positive it than who we play instead any points gained is better than zero.

But why do you assume we'd get zero if Leeds stayed down? That's clearly negative, thinking we'd lose two fixtures that might not even happen. If we were to play them we'll be much stronger than last time... and they'll be potentially weaker after failing again.

You surely can't even believe yourself that thinking we'd lose twice if we played them again is some kind of positive.

‘Likely won’t happen’

The exact thing did happen, only last season.
