Out of the probable relegated teams, we'll still have the most elbow room financially. Leicester will be hit with FFP and Southampton's owners have already said they'll be unable to compete financially even with the parachute payments. | |

Just to clarify, you are suggesting we should have sacked McKenna straight after securing a double promotion and appointed someone like Sam Allardyce (not sure who the modern alternative for that is). We should also have signed the likes of Barkley, Townsend and some other former Premier League players who are no longer considered good enough and have no potential to improve.
As much as it isn't fun being where we are at the moment, I am glad the club is run by people with a diametrically-opposed view to that. |  |

Of course it will. If he can develop a team from all we have then we should be excellent in the Championship. If he cannot, it shows he was able to mould a certain team and that was it. Fail to get us at least in the play offs next season and he will be on his way and seen as a decent Championship manager who someone will give a punt on.
I am confident that McKenna will get another shot at the Premier League with us and his reputation and progress will depend on it having a better outcome than this season. | |
