Let’s be honest, all parties do one thing in opposition and another once in power.
I hope that Reform now having a certain degree of power and will face far greater scrutiny- and hopefully criticism.
I very much doubt it. Richard Tice is on the BBC almost every day spreading misinformation about climate change and never gets pulled up on it. Lately the BBC has taken impartiality to mean let right wingers say any old lie with impunity.

Lately? I’d argue that it’s been since at least 2016.
Reform's edict that only the Union Flag or Cross of St George are permitted to be flown from or hung within buildings of councils under their control means that Leicestershire County Council cannot display the official Leicestershire flag on their own premises.

Reform are a party of protest. What happens at Councils where they are the main party? They are the ones in charge - do they protest against themselves? Councils have procedures. If you want to say something in a meeting, you table a motion beforehand in accordance with the rules. I don't see Reform wanting to follow rules so some council meetings will just be shouting matches.
Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

How could anybody vote for these morons? It's just utter nonsense.

That’s not true from what I’ve read today county flags can also be flown

The original edict from Reform was Union flag or cross of St George only.
After it was pointed out to them by both Lancashire and Leicestershire councils that the edict therefore excluded county flags, they amended the edict.
Edit:
I wonder if there will be a further amendment to allow this ..

That flag is always good as it directs Nige to the nearest trough.

even if they wanted to fly that one they couldn't without planning permission. it always seems odd that the uk has a short list of flags that can be flown without permission, and anything outside of that list is a planning issue.
And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

For misinformation, lies, etc, please see Labour party. Theyre proven world leaders in that department!
Surely this should be a different thread.
OP was about Reform expecting council workers to no longer WFH, while advertising for Reform staff on hybrid contracts. Nothing about lying or misinformation or the labour party?

You forgot the criminality. As far as I'm aware no Reform MP has been imprisoned for punching a man to the ground in the street and I don't think any Reform MPs currently have an international arrest warrant out for them for corruption. *checks google* nope none arrested on suspicion of child sexual offences either.
"A+++++", "Great Comms, would recommend", "Thank you, the 12 inch black mamba is just perfect" - Ebay.

What is it with these sorts? They love cheap symbolism over substantive action (see also Trump).
