Both nice simple logos so should look good on the new shirt. I’m assuming it’ll be the same company that will sponsor the west stand?

Shirt sponsor next season on 14:08 - May 7 with 1317 views | iamipswich | This may sound spurious but I was actually at a wedding and Ed Sheeran was there (same day we beat Spurs I believe) and he said it would be Halo. A few drinks had been consumed so maybe I'm overplaying it in my head.

They're chucking some money around if it is them, having just sponsored the world snooker championships.

HALO have seen incredible growth as a business in recent years. They were recently listed in the Deloitte top 50 fastest growing tech businesses in the UK. I heard they had been offered some pretty big incentives to move their operation to Silicon Valley but declined in favour of staying in Suffolk. Potentially an incredible success story for a business from Stowmarket, and fantastic for the area and local labour market and wider commerce. I believe they're targeting being a £1bn turnover business by 2028. Would be excellent for the community for them to further their involvement in ITFC if you ask me.

There growth is staggering. I recall talking to them, this is there 8th consecutive year of doubling or more there turnover.... mental stat!! I know them very well, they have used my services and they are just down the road from my yard. Awesome guys. Yes they want to stay in Stowmarket and they have out grown there current office. I keep thinking they will buy Barnards old site but the longer it stays empty the less likely imo. They are having to look to move to Ipswich for a big enough building thats an office. Hopefully they stay in Stowmarket as they are great employers with an awesome graduate program.. which is great for Stow.

Given what Ed's sponsorship has done to shirt sales across the world, it's going to have to be something pretty lucrative. I don't know what Ed paid, but the increase in sales due to his celebrity must have massively topped that up.

Certainly is great for the town. I think I'm right in saying the founder lives in Stowupland so no doubt handy to stay in the town if at all possible. With the greatest of respect to Stowmarket (and its true of all towns of its size) it must be hard to recruit in the area, especially in tech for such a fast growing business. I'm not sure the talent pool will solely exist locally but the proximity to the station is probably helpful, with people coming in from Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich etc. Over time certainly an incredible asset to the town, hopefully they can find a site that's big enough to support their growth. Its not just the direct employment opportunities either, any town for a £1bn+ business in it will naturally see much, much wider benefits, whether it be the schools & colleges, local businesses benefit from that halo (pardon the pun) impact too. Great for the town and county, and good on them.
