Cajuste 20:24 - May 26 with 11890 views | itfc_bucks | Lots of Tw@tter-based talk that it's already a done deal and he'll be with us next year? I'm not a paid up member of Jens fanclub, is he robust enough to do that job in the championship and, I'll leave myself wide open here, is he *that* good we want to blow a substantial chunk of a limited budget on him?
Cajuste on 20:26 - May 26 with 6675 views | jasondozzell | He's a Premier League quality midfielder who was signed by Napoli. He's technically and physically a top tier midfielder. Would be an incredible signing. He has been one of our best players this season. I suspect our medical dept have had a big say in it if it happens because we've handled his knee so well. We would also have to have been satisfied he's going right way. [Post edited 26 May 20:36]

Cajuste on 20:26 - May 26 with 6655 views | Linners | I think it's a simple one. If he can stay fit for 35+ games, he should be brilliant.
Cajuste on 20:28 - May 26 with 6622 views | Nthsuffolkblue | I am of the opinion he still needs to add an end product but I hope he can develop that over next season and form formidable partnerships with other players.

Cajuste on 20:29 - May 26 with 6604 views | itfc48 | McKenna likes to utilise his squad. For the Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday weeks I can imagine quite a bit of rotation so not sure we need to worry if he’ll manage 46 games.
Cajuste on 20:29 - May 26 with 6585 views | SitfcB | If we sign him then may as well announce him in the Championship team of the year at the same time.

Cajuste on 20:34 - May 26 with 6484 views | SuffolkPunchFC | Given he joined us with an injury to manage, he’s actually put in a lot of minutes - only a few players having put in significantly more. And his minutes have been on an upward trend in the New Year. May suggest the worst of his knee problem is over. I rate Cajuste very highly, and think a lot of people miss some of the good things he does. Some people on the forum I respect the views of don’t rate him, which is ok. I just think they’re wrong No, he doesn’t have many goals or assists (yet) but he’s no worse than any of the midfield this season. I hope he’s here next season to prove the doubters wrong.

I am a doubter but hope he is here next season to develop and improve and grow into the player he clearly has the potential to become. Which was also my view for a long time with Andre Dozzell!

When has he shown he's a PL quality midfielder?

Cajuste on 20:44 - May 26 with 6295 views | LankHenners | Strongly suspect it's a case of people willing something to happen and blurring the lines of dream and reality to be honest. Seems to have become the fashionable opinion to knock him recently and while I agree he doesn't fit like a glove into our system, anyone not wanting him in the Champ for us is being very silly imo.

Cajuste on 20:48 - May 26 with 6234 views | _clive_baker_ | Good player on his day, while £10m sounds a lot it’s not really in this day and age when the talk was about £8m for Ben Sheaf a couple of years ago and more than that for Downes. He’s only 25. Question mark over fitness so hopefully he proves robust enough for a 46 game championship season.

Even if we got 30 games out of him next year that would be enough.

Cajuste on 21:23 - May 26 with 5795 views | positivity | i'd be happy with him on a loan with some fitness clauses. he's an excellent player, but is he suitable for one of the pivot roles in our system? not sure he tackles enough, doesn't do the peak luongo work covering davis' forward bursts either

Cajuste on 21:38 - May 26 with 5576 views | BloomBlue | Not sure he's been totally fit this season. Has played well but I don't recall him actually dominating the midfield in any game this season. Now some of that maybe because we've been outnumber in midfield. But even against West Ham, old man Ward-Prowse was dominating the midfield.
Cajuste on 21:47 - May 26 with 5482 views | wrightsrightglove | Both Phillips and Enciso have put out social posts saying thanks and goodbye, Cajuste hasn’t thus far. Not that that means anything necessarily but a bit more fuel [Post edited 26 May 21:47]

He's clearly got lots of ability, but does he influence games enough considering midfield has been a real issue this season? I think he needs to add a cutting edge to his game, which he may be able to do. At the minute he is a bit like a poor man's Moussa Dembele, who was an absolutely unbelievable footballer in the middle of the pitch but didn't do enough in the advanced areas considering how good he was. I don't think he's done enough this season for Premier League teams to be clambering to sign him, so I think that makes us signing him a lot more probable.

Old-man Prowse is only 30... Wouldn't be surprised if we looked at him as an option for next year.

He would be an even better signing than Cajuste would be. Great player

Cajuste on 22:10 - May 26 with 5131 views | PioneerBlue | Concerns over valuation, robustness, fit for the champ. They are all valid but for MA and KMck to deal with. For me, he’s an international, signed by Napoli Serie A champions and people are speaking g about him signing for us permanently. Here’s the pen.

That's a good point - if the medical team have done a good job with him, I would imagine that's a huge tick in the 'pros' column. Phillips' comments about McKenna getting him believing in himself again are fantastic as well. We all know how good a man-manager McKenna is, but it speaks volumes to hear someone like Phillips saying that. Hopefully he'll have had a similar impact on Jens.
