Agree, think hes proved himself to be more than capable for a Championship side in two successive seasons.
Maybe he wants to be able to play week in, week out and be a guaranteed starter, but think he could definitely do that in the championship. | | | |

He was pretty ineffectual at Derby (and here) and they’re a bit of a basket case. He probably prefers the thought of joining up with Grant again (and maybe it’s the only concrete offer he’s had and he just wanted to get something done - who knows?). I’m not surprised to see him in L1. I hope he does well. |  |

Yeah, I do find it quite strange to be honest. He's a decent enough player, but this notion he walks in to most Championship teams is just odd in my opinion. |  |

Once John Eustace came in, and turned Derby's form around he was a regular and very important in keeping them up.....started the last 12 games having been in and out of the team before that.
Think he'd have easily got a Championship club in bottom half of the table, but 3 years at 29 is a massive contract for him. His level is probably 15th-20th in the Champ as a regular starter | |
