The terms are relatively unimportant for PSR. The outstanding payment appears in the accounts as an outstanding receivable, and allows us ‘trade’ against that income even though it hasn’t been paid to us yet. | | | |

Yes there will be profit, obviously the extra 10M is to come next summer but it's unlikely we will have paid the 15M/ 20M in one instalment. It's probably more likely that will pay over 3/5 years (length of his ITFC contract) so we will have paid something like 5/7M so far and got back 20 - % of profit clause.

The club haven't made a point of that, this is speculation from the media. It has probably come from respected sources and likely the truth, but the club hasn't come out and said this is the case. Actually. You shouldn’t believe all you read. We’ve made a massive loss.
The fee to Man C was £25m paid up front. Wages for the year £5m. Man C are entitled to 20% on the whole Chelsea fee - £6m payable up front and Chelsea are paying what they owe us over the life of the contract. So we will lose only £6m over the six years. It could be worse.
The moon is made of cheese (not Wensleydale), Bluey is off to the glue factory to save money and Ashton has decided yellow and green is a lovely colour combo so that will the first team kit next year, Oh, he’s also bought a suit of armour, so when he’s clanking around Ipswich he’s ‘well protected’.
