Comes with the territory of having a good manager.

I guess it's better than having a rubbish manager than nobody wants!

You haven't got a gut feeling. You just fear it will happen because it seems to make sense.

What will be, will be.

I've always thought that the supporters saying KM wouldn't be attractive to PL teams because of this season were being very naive.

He's one of the best young coaches around.

I really hope we keep him but he will see himself as a PL manager so worried about Brentford.

Very true. See also the moaning about us selling a striker for “only” 30million. We’ve come a long way. Unimaginable turnaround, really, from the Evans era.

Sex, drugs and rock n roll? And whether danish blue cheese is as good as Stilton (of course not!).

I hope he stays. However, Brentford is a big step up for him, but also a really good stepping stone for one of the jobs he really wants. A solid year with Brentford and the likes of Spurs and above will be knocking at his door.

You are right. He’s one of the best young coaches around and will be in demand.

Hopefully not but if it happens it needs to be done quickly.

Another summer of speculation over will he or won’t he go is the last thing we need. We need to get our recruitment spot on which isn’t going to be helped if there is a repeat of last year.

Ashton needs to go straight to McKenna and say if the offer is on the table would you go, if yes, get rid, don’t want another pre season of uncertainty, then scurrying around trying to sign players. Piss my pants if he took it and relegated Brentford.

Get rid and don’t get the compensation from Brentford ?

As pointed out by the KOA podcast a few weeks back, the summer of uncertainty in 2024 lasted from 18th May to 30th May (even that was extended by a few days due to legal matters in KM’s new contract).

OK this is very different to "get rid".

We can't stop him going even if we want to if they meet his clause. I think that's supposed to be around 5M.

If McK wants to go then let him go. Town are a very attractive club outside the PL so I think we could get a quality replacement

Your statement makes no sense in so many ways.

So we sack mckenna and pay a huge amount of wage compensation because if approached he may like to take another job.
