Totally agree. Only argument to let him go is that we've spent 44 million on three players who play in his position, so we kind of have to play one of them instead of him. | |

I'm a bit torn. I really like Broadhead, and when he has played this season, he hasn't looked out of place at Premier League level. He's so silky in his first touch and also has a good shot in his locker. The problem is that he rarely gets extended time on the pitch, either due to injuries or because McKenna simply doesn't see him as the best option. That automatically makes him somewhat of a luxury player. I hope he stays, but if a really good offer comes in, I can understand if the club considers it. | | | |

I like him too, but it was plain to see how even lesser Palace-type teams in the Prem had silky skills plus speed and forcefulness built in to so many of their midfield/front-runners that we came up against. Same could be said for Wales keeping him on the bench last night when they had succeeded in a come-back through pace and power rather than subtlety and guile. [Post edited 10 Jun 10:55]

Who knows whether this is rubbish or not. To me this all speaks of a reset to replace a lot of the "Old guard" with the intention of not going into the Premier league when next we get there so that a real attempt is made to remain there. I think last season was a "testing the water" season where a cautious attempt was made to stay in the Prem. | | | |
