Ok I’ll give it a go as I feel a bit responsible. Norwichy:

Hides behind the beauty that is Ipswich royal blue with that magnificent club badge and proud history but deep down has a yearning; an ache like the middle of the night after too much curry and lager to follow the grisly Twyfords yellow mob.

Likes budgies, canaries, colmans mustard, Chris Sutton, Delia's recipe books, thought the great beer can on the bonnet scandal deserved a public enquiry, sees nothing wrong in torching a stand for the insurance, doesn’t think Grant Holt looks like a village idiot, enjoys a nip of cooking sherry.

Norwichy.

Edit: bilious.

Norwichy. Seventeenth century slang word for Sh1te. Used mainly by the upper classes of Norfolk nowadays.
“I say Tarquin, The canaries are particularly Norwichy again this afternoon old bean”

Also a more recent addition to the English dictionary meaning to participate.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

'It's not the winning, it's the taking part that counts' is the best way to sum up Norwichy.

Or, to quote Super Hans: 'Norwich are never going to win the league, but they still turn up every week don't they? The pr1cks.'

That's a very Norwichy comment, to be fair.

I'd say Norwichy is being overly triumphant about relatively insignificant achievements. Being a bit tinpot.

In the dictionary it might say, "Texters made a Norwichy comment about them having a long unbeaten run against their rivals at a time when their rivals have been in the ascendancy and spent the most recent season a division above Norwich".

They include several years of that 'run' where we have been in separate divisions, some of where they were lower than us

I mean, we’ve been above them for 2 years.
Last win vs them, 2009
In 14 games over 15 years, 8 losses, 6 draws.

Norwichy? Because we’d not be giving it the big one about that?!

Personally, I've barely given Norwich a thought all season. And when I was on the pitch after the Huddersfield game last season, our record against Norwich didn't factor into my thoughts at all. Stop being so Norwichy, mate.

They didn’t come on my radar until this post appeared.

But it’s bullsht that we’d not be as chuffed to be unbeaten vs them.
