Kneecap began a politically charged set at Glastonbury on Saturday afternoon, leading the crowds in chants of “F#ck Keir Starmer!”
Later on Saturday, an Avon and Somerset police spokesperson said the force was assessing comments made by Kneecap during their set.
They told the Guardian: “We are aware of the comments made by acts on the West Holts stage at Glastonbury festival this afternoon.
“Video evidence will be assessed by officers to determine whether any offences may have been committed that would require a criminal investigation.”
...hell yes!
Edit....ps...you didn’t answer my questions.

I am not sure what you are getting at here but I would prefer Starmer be removed from his office at the ballot box than by a bomb planted at this years Labour Party Conference. In answer to your questions, the first one is totally irrelevant and I would rather The BBC police themselves on this matter and not broadcast the set. There have been attempts to tame The BBC over the years, most of them by The Tories. All have failed.
‘I’m gonna protest against Israel’s genocide with a flag of another group who were actively committing genocide and starvation to prop up genocidal Assad in Syria’.
How does one reach that level of stupidity? What next -protest against ISIS by waving an Al Queda flag. Unbelievable.

"How does one reach that level of stupidity?"
which is spot on. these people, and the other band, are attention seeking idiots with a nasty shouty adolescent mind set. i wish they didn't get so much media attention - it is what they're after. i also think the law is being over-used and the bar for legal action has been set too low. the law is getting involved in people expressing stupid views, which is a waste of everyone's time. but once you've started down the route of using incitement laws to intervene in music performance or online nonsense it's very hard to stop - and the call of inconsistency if you treat one instance as incitement and then ignore something equally pathetic is unavoidable.
And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

Stokie should have this as his avatar the amount of times I see him delete a post
I removed it because I was referencing Vylans set which was the wrong one. That's the sensible thing to do.
As for you having a pop, it's a bit rich coming from someone who frequently has threads deleted by Phil. Another one of yours gone yesterday I see, one that was clearly posted to start an argument.
People in glass houses and all that....

Who mentioned The IDF on this thread? Oh right, you did.
As per my post to Sitters, I was referencing the wrong set.
However, as others have pointed out, the actions of the IDF have certainly affected the attitudes and views of those at this set. Is not entirely valid to dismiss that but I didn't want to sidetrack the thread by referencing a different set.

Personally I’d rather not have a state broadcaster, especially one you are forced to pay for.
I do agree your point that it’s insane BBC won’t show the documentary.
You are not forced to use the bbc or have a license. We will miss it when the right wingers eventually get rid of it. It is v highly respected internationally

Despite its problems and the attempt to righty-fy it with the current leadership, it's still one of our few last great institutions. It would be madness to get rid of it, but they do need to reassess their values in some areas. Their fixation on false equivalence in current affairs isn't doing anyone any favours.

I dunno putting former Tory director of communications and director of the Jewish chronicle, Robbie Gibb, in charge of overseeing 'bias' at the BBC has been very successful
Can I just ask for clarity - what is meant by "Consider the BBC owned"?
Owned by who?
I'm not here to start a row - I come in good faith that it's not meant how it sounds like it's meant. But it is dangerously close to sounding like that, so thought I should seek reassurance it isn't.
