That's nothing to be scared of though is it? They needed that to get anywhere near our level on finances - I certainly doubt they can outbid us financially. They received less than the Liam Delap fee for the CWC (yes, before someone feels the need to say "erm actually..." Undoubtedly true, however as per Phil's report last week, if that interest hasn't materialised in to a bid from these PL teams, and our offer is the only one on the table for Boro and the player, then you'd think we'd be confident in getting it done. | |

Yesterday Toluca fans were saying Ruiz is off to Ipswich and deal was 95 percent done. Then we heard Palmeiras were offering 2m more. I don’t believe that to be factually correct as why would they bid 2m over Ipswich for no reason. I think Ruiz will leave Toluca in this window and the club is looking for a higher price (if that’s possible).
