Anyone who follows the ladies team on 22:18 - Jul 31 with 1300 views | Mark | Portsmouth, who won our league the season before us, only got 13 points in the Championship (WSL2) last season so it shows it is a big step up in quality. I think we will aim to stay up in what will be our first season at that level. We probably need to add more pace in attack.
Anyone who follows the ladies team on 22:41 - Jul 31 with 1186 views | Kievthegreat | We seem to have signed 2 Roes and a Dear thus far. There seems to be a theme, but I can't tell you much more TBH. EDIT: oh and now they've ruined it by signing Grace Neville. Can't make that fit the same theme. [Post edited 31 Jul 22:46]

Anyone who follows the ladies team on 22:53 - Jul 31 with 1125 views | Freddies_Ears | It's about hitting a midtable finish. That way, even if we underperform we will be ok. The signings are all strong, experienced pros - just what we need.
Anyone who follows the ladies team on 23:11 - Jul 31 with 1073 views | JammyDodgerrr | The ones we've signed today, especially Neville, are big. How we've convinced Neville I don't really know - she will be a massive signing.

Anyone who follows the ladies team on 09:22 - Aug 1 with 676 views | blue_curacao | I see the investment in and continued progress of the women's team as a massive plus for the club as a whole. With the huge growth in the women's game it will increase our value and help attract further investment. I'm not clear on how it plays into the PSR situation but hopefully it will also increase our PSR envelope for the men's team. Can anyone enlighten me on this point?

It's separate as I understand. But also potentially helpful as we could sell our own ladies team to ourselves ala cheslea. Or something. [Post edited 1 Aug 9:26]

Anyone who follows the ladies team on 09:26 - Aug 1 with 664 views | SomethingBlue | Think priority will be to stay up and push from there – the top two divisions in women's football are massively unmoored from the rest, and it's going to become more so, and the benefits of staying up there should become huge.

If we do that, I will consider us to be cheating the system.

And Villa and Everton .... seems to be the new thing to do so has to be quick as surely this will be closed down if it is indeed a financial loophole which to the untrained eye it seems to be.

Pretty shocking court order that seeing as you’re still allowed on the internet.

We could sell the women's team to ourselves as most clubs are doing and then this allows further investment into them from external parties as it will be a separate company, however, unless we are a PL team and they're in the WSL, there isn't much point. From a regular PSR point of view, all spending on the women's team is exempt so we should go for it(and we are) - signing Neville(who won the league last year!) is a real statement and won't have been cheap. No point in selling the women's team to ourselves at this stage. There seems to be a benchmark of 20x income, based on the 3 cheats so far. So, little point until our income reaches at least the £1m mark.

Grace Neville? I wonder if she's any relation to Grace Dent.
