Portsmouth, who won our league the season before us, only got 13 points in the Championship (WSL2) last season so it shows it is a big step up in quality. I think we will aim to stay up in what will be our first season at that level. We probably need to add more pace in attack. |  | | |

I see the investment in and continued progress of the women's team as a massive plus for the club as a whole. With the huge growth in the women's game it will increase our value and help attract further investment.
I'm not clear on how it plays into the PSR situation but hopefully it will also increase our PSR envelope for the men's team. Can anyone enlighten me on this point? | | | |

Think priority will be to stay up and push from there – the top two divisions in women's football are massively unmoored from the rest, and it's going to become more so, and the benefits of staying up there should become huge. | |

We could sell the women's team to ourselves as most clubs are doing and then this allows further investment into them from external parties as it will be a separate company, however, unless we are a PL team and they're in the WSL, there isn't much point.
From a regular PSR point of view, all spending on the women's team is exempt so we should go for it(and we are) - signing Neville(who won the league last year!) is a real statement and won't have been cheap. [Post edited 1 Aug 10:56]

There seems to be a benchmark of 20x income, based on the 3 cheats so far. So, little point until our income reaches at least the £1m mark. | | | |
