Unfortunately greed has totally taken over football. Gone are the days when you could offer a player plus cash and the player was on the train or in his car down to PR to sign.
I understand players like Morsy needing a two year deal, but players in their early to mid twenties have plenty of time for the really big bucks and they are not guaranteed a place as will be the case with Delap.
Truthfully we don't know the situation with Hackney, but it does appear agents are ruining the game in their own interests. |  | | |

Whatever you do don't go onto the Boro forum. That is quite lively with a few (genuine) ITKers. If you start refreshing that as well as TWTD your brain melts and you get zero work done.

I like the fact he hasn't signed yet, at least he's being honest. He clearly believes in his own ability and has the passion to play in the PL, and wants to wait to see what the best options are.
I prefer that to a player joining, telling us he always wanted to play for the club, a few games in tap/kiss the badge and then immediately jump ship and tells the next club he always wanted to play for the club etc etc. |  | | |
