I agree he's the best keeper on the books. However, what is most important is a decision and certainty. If KMc has made the decision that he is not to be our no1 keeper this year (and his squad number strongly suggests that), we need to get rid and move on.

Anyone who wants to move on, ship them out. As fast as possible, whatever the fee. Nothing will kill our season faster than players who think they’re bigger than the club, too good for it, disgruntled or just want a new challenge. I don’t care who they are.
Commitment is everything. There’s no half measures, you are with us or you are gone with best wishes. It’s what got us promoted twice in two years.

It’s also not Muric, he is awful with his feet (it takes his brain a second too long to tell his feet what to do…, maybe because he’s tall it takes a while for the feet to get the memo).

Palmer is also prone to daft mistakes. The only difference is that his mistakes haven’t led to any goals yet.
In this division when we can expect more direct play against us and balls being put into the box, Muric is the man best equipped to deal with them imho. He wasn’t in the Championship team of the year a couple of years back for no reason | |

What is that we know about his colleagues not rating/enjoying playing with him? Is it ITK stuff or just based on reactions we see? Because I think that is key.

Yeah but I’m sure we could also find examples of players who did cut errors out - should be where quality coaching and psychology comes into its own.
I’m not saying I know the errors can be cut out but equally have a feeling there’s enough potential upside with Muric for someone to have a gamble on him and get lucky.

The player bashing from some supporters is becoming a real issue, we have done 8 million on a goal keeper who was disliked before he even kicked a ball last year.
