Health kick 13:38 - Aug 11 with 649 views | _clive_baker_ | Anyone got any hacks? Particularly savoury snacks. I don't have a sweet tooth but I do like a mid afternoon snack. I've been eating a lot of mushrooms lately (not those ones), fried up with garlic and chili, no need for oil. Need a bit of variety though.

They are supposed to be one of those slow release foods that are good for your gut but just form a cloggy mass in your mouth that makes the seven cream crackers challenge seem like drinking yoghurt. They do satisfy the cravings between meals, mainly because they divert your attention to the possibility of choking on a mouthful. So, despite the relatively expensive cost of a pack, will last you months as you only eat a fraction of a handful at any one time.

Health kick on 14:59 - Aug 11 with 402 views | geg1992 | I've been eating a lot of meat and eggs. Boiled eggs are a great snack. Although not great tasting, babybel or little cheese sticks help as a snack too. 5.5 stone down so far, hoping I can lose the remaining 1.5 stone by the end of the year or sooner. If I crave carbs too much, I find making potato wedges in the air fryer with a bit of seasoning great. Potatoes are so filling

Health kick on 15:21 - Aug 11 with 252 views | mutters | Over the summer I've fallen hard for a Mediterranean salad (rocket/ lettuce, onions - both red and spring, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and cheap feta cheese). Splashed with a bit of balsamic and some rock salt. Delicious. Can use low fat feta as I personally can't taste the difference too much

5.5 stone strewth that's incredible. Good on you. If you can do that you can do another 1.5. I'm not necessarily aiming for weight loss per se, although I'm probably 3 or 4 kg heavier than I have been most of my adult life. Its more a bit of toning and mental alertness / energy levels which I notice is directly correlated to my diet. I only eat meat on Wednesday's and Saturdays but eggs are good. With you on carbs, I love pasta and bread far too much.
