Really hope so, he looks very good indeed.
Would be very happy to see the lad here. It might be my blue tinted glasses but this would be a very logical and sensible step up in his career. Just hope he’s not persuaded by a Wolves, Leeds or Burnley where he may get Prem football but ultimately learn more under Kmc. | | | |

Don't think it would be unreasonable for people to feel frustrated if we cant get a couple sorted this week. We've felt the frustration of a couple of panic buys in the last couple of summer windows that have always not worked out. The rumours are far quieter than im comfortable with considering how much mckenna has made it clear we need to do.
I'm starting to sense some concern because of the Hackney and azon situation where things drag then don't get over the line, we're running out of time where we can get away with that, realistically each signing seems to be taking a minimum 7 days from initial rumour. It feels a bit long compared to previous windows but that may be virtue of waiting for something exciting and knowing we have funds to make a go of it. | | | |

Although we all desperately want bodies in ASAP it's a long season and far more critical that we get the right players in who will really help us rather than settling for players who may not benefit us hugely just because they're available. If that means waiting an extra week then so be it. I have confidence we'll be happy with the squad by the time the window closes. |  |

We've got 2 weeks, although clearly the earlier the better.
Priority for Saturday probably has to be getting Jens and Matusiwa a week on the training ground together, and hopefully Akpom a bit closer to involvement. I would go unchanged across the back 4 and front 4, its important we start building some levels of continuity. |  | | |

I mean, I'm pretty sure it's not a conscious choice FFS! It's not like they're ready to go and we're saying 'no-no let's wait until the final few hours of the window'.
The deals we're doing mean better players exhausting bigger options, that's the reality and that won't be until near the end of the window. Or those deals failing and us pushing through back up choices, sadly. |  | | |

What does that actually mean though? I want another player in that can play the second defensive centre mid role taking the ball off the back line and able to ping passes and have quick feet to get the ball on to the attacking players in decent positions. They need to be good at breaking down play and turnovers and the nitty gritty stuff, so to me that's a defensive midfielder, just one who has quick feet and pass.
Some people seem to be suggesting we need some kind of attacking box to box midfielder assisting and getting goals. I think that would be a terrible idea given our way of playing. | | | |
