Technically a very good player but he struggles with consistency and can go missing sometimes. Also always seems a bit lightweight to me, not one that fits with the desire to bring in athletes better suited to the physical demands of the prem.
With the Chile national team he tends to look good when the team around him are playing well, but has never been able to push the team to do better when the rest of the team are out of sorts (which has been most of the time for the last couple of years, la roja have been awful). |  |
