I actually feel sorry for Jack

Imo he's best going back to league 1 and bang some goals in from 30 yards every week.

a niche perspective

I like Taylor but he's a 'looks really good at his level' player par excellence.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Think he's better than that

Not if you believe what Norwich fans have to say about Nunez’s injury record.

Not sure.

Part of the promotion team, passionate, obviously got a thunderbolt on him (not that we've seen it enough). I can see him leaving and after a few weeks people saying we lack a Jack Taylor type player.

Humphreys could potentially step into his shoes but it's still early for him. I think in the right system and set up Taylor can be a dangerous attacking player. Both parties have just never totally suited each other.

I can live with those numbers. Thank you for reminding me that football fans never talk garbage more than when they’re trying to convince themselves that it really doesn’t matter that one of their players is signing for a local rival.

Garbage flying around on both sides mate.

Good signing for us imho, if we can manage Cajuste then....

Aside from the big reveal (which personally I'd keep low level)

Personally Im looking forward to the Admin interview

He will be very much needed this season, him and Nunez will be back up to Cajuste and Azor and have to play both the 6 and 8 roles (Nunez more as a 6 and Taylor more as an 8 you'd think)

Not atm, imo.
Still has a squad role to play.

Different if James Jordan rocks up by the end of the window, though..

"Currently got an ankle issue"

Did someone say he has already passed a medical?

A medical doesn’t mean if you’re ready to start tomorrow it’s a long term risk assessment, hence the Como guy fell through but was in their bench. Anything can crop up, like any long term investment really.

Yes, but currently having an ankle issue would presumably flag a problem (especially with the way our medicals seem to have gone in the last year or so). Of course, if it is more akin to Hutchinson's sore throat or clearly only a minor knock, it wouldn't be a problem. My comment was more in the mindset of how our medicals seem to have shown up issues more recently.

Just seems like we are overloaded next to Matusiwa now, so I wouldn’t be surprised but at this level we may stay with those 4 and just make it work if needed. My preference is more a proper DCM though to back up Azor, but can’t see us chucking a big fee at it. Maybe a loan.

Taylor to go by the end of the window. Can't see the club paying nearly 10m for a player to be a bit part player imho.
Assume when he is fit - Budgies at home - he would be a starter, but with who as a partner is anyone's guess!

Still need a good No 9 before the window closes!

Cajuste and Nunez partner with Matsi. Given us excellent rotation options. Taylor provides cover for Cajuste if injured but also cover for Matsi.

KM likes 4 CM. Taylor going nowhere unless he wants to.

We need another Matusiwa type player. Taylor and Nunez and Cajuste are not that. Would expect us to pursue James or another similar defensive minded CM and ... then maybe a loan/ sale of Taylor?

Hopefully yes

No this window, that’s for sure, not in a strong enough position to allow JT to move on.

I like Taylor, not as a starter, but he’s a more than capable group player, an underrated understudy imo.
