Europa for Forest much more prestigious and important than conference was for Chelsea you’d think, but either way I don’t think they are leaving out Omari or anybody else as a way of keeping them fresh for bigger games.
Is worth considering that we’d face similar issues with the homegrown thing should we make it to Europe in the next few years, value of a good academy and/or youth recruitment shows there. | | | |

I think it’s a difficult situation for a player - why should they be practically enslaved to a club? If I want to move job, I can - despite my ‘contract’.

I was looking at it the other way, that they will have added players primarily viewed as Europa League players. However important the competition is to them, it's not as important as the Premier League.

Yep I concur. Definitely seen in a more negative light imo. You'd want your best players to be available for the key matches, and I'd imagine Europe being quite a big thing in Forests Season this year. The bottom few squad spots I could understand some jostling for squad maximisation but to not make the squad isn't the best start.
