A few quid at 9/1 to be the first manager to go, is a nice start to the day :-)

I do. Not sure why any Ipswich fan gives him any respect the way he forced his move.
I get people want to fish for upvotes and play the ‘I’m really nice’ card, but it’s bo11ocks really.

It's a shame he left like that. Be interesting to see what kind of reception he gets from the crowd if he ever comes back to PR. I expect the happy clappers will give him a rousing round of applause to rival the league one relegation celebration.

Omari and Nuno was not a match made in heaven it seems, was Edu's choice

Thoughts with Nottingham Forest’s players as they are made to immediately shift from standing on the edge of their area and patiently waiting for the right moment to attack to charging headlong into the opposition’s area at every given moment, praying their hamstrings doesn’t constantly twang.

This was my first reaction... Postecoglou's style is completely different to Nuno. This could be a disaster.

The happy clappers will give him a rousing reception and the Neanderthal knuckle-draggers will boo and boo and boo. Most people will be completely indifferent towards him.

I consider myself a happy clapper if you like, but Omari did disappoint me massively.

He's had an impact on our slow start without ever playing because he didn't play.

I personally think he owed us a game or two regardless, but get that he would be concerned about an injury scuppering the deal (that goes both ways for the club and player btw)

Still...should have played.

Who would want to manage there though?

Anyone who fancies a lot of money and European football. There aren't too many vacancies like that around at the moment. But yes, a toxic environment for any manager if you get binned having achieved what Nuno has achieved. If we had a vacancy, and I hope we don't for a long time, we would be delighted with such an appointment. I've not investigated how Forest fans feel, but I bet they're pi55ed off.

Was the signing of Hutch one of the reasons for the falling out between owner and manager? As it appeared to me Nuno seemed not to rate Omari .

As a player? Or as a person?
I wouldn't want a player in my squad that was prepared to down tools. Perhaps Nuno didn't like that level of professionalism?

I doubt it as football is extremely cutthroat and all about the here-and-now. If he had wanted Omari, I doubt very much whether he would have cared how Forest had been able to get their man.

Totally agree, and perhaps Omari's petulance was that reason why Nuno didn't want him.

We flipped him for a decent profit. Which was all part of the plan.
Personally, in terms of us re-building the culture and togetherness at the club. I'm not sure I'd want him here. Knowing that he might get a sore throat as we near every transfer window. Perhaps Nuno didn't like that kind of attitude? It's a manager's nightmare.
