Police say 110,000 on the Unite the Kingdom rally
We took 5,000 to Preston the other week.
According to the Police that means there were only 22x more people on the rally.
There was quite clearly between 500,000 to a 1,000,000 people on that protest
The Police lied because they, the media and the Government want to play down the feeling of the Country at the moment

Why cant you lot just accept that there might be other opinions to yours, without the sarky, condescending and over the top remarks.
The problem with these subjects, is that there's often a huge middle ground of opinion which is instantly dismissed and receives the pile on from the usual suspects.
Ive said it before, I'm sure the attitudes of a few stop a lot of people from posting.

The tone of replies here is pretty much the same across the board. Express a silly opinion on the football board and people will be sarky, condescending, over the top in response. Express a left wing opinion on general and people who disagree will be plenty sarky, condescending, over the top (for e.g., there's someone defending Corbyn on the Burnham thread and getting just as short shrift as onceablue is getting here).
Only difference is that some conservatives here (and in wider British society) think theirs is a special order of opinion that needs to be treated like a delicate little flower and anything else "isn't free speech". [Post edited 17 Sep 9:13]

Firstly, onceablue hasn't just posted it as his opinion, it's clearly set out as if it's fact.
Secondly, he's not in the "middle ground", he's at an extreme.
Thirdly, aren't people commenting just offering opinions too? Why is he allowed an opinion but people aren't allowed an opinion on that opinion?
Finally, it's clearly nonsense not backed up with evidence (as others in the thread have provided).
