Omari 16:40 - Oct 3 with 2315 views | turtle2 | Forest in dis-aaray - i suspect they will go down this year - their fans are clearly totally idiotic after calling for the sacking of the manager last night ..... oh the irony of us getting into the prem and forest coming down - Omari did some great things for us but dont thing forward thinking was ever a great strength of his ... who knows

The risks you take when you allow your agent to decide your future. His career wouldn't have been been any worse had he stayed with us another year and developed further. At the morning with each sub appearing for forest he's not continuing to their cause so he may well drop down the packing order.

Omari on 17:02 - Oct 3 with 2094 views | Radlett_blue | The idiocy was Forest's maverick owner Marinakis falling out with Nuno, whom I think is a highly competent manager & then having to appoint the hapless Ange (who has no track record in any proper league) after the season began. If allowed, Ange is quite capable of taking Forest down. Would be especially ironic if Nuno kept West Ham up at the same time.

Omari on 17:07 - Oct 3 with 2062 views | J2BLUE | They have way too much quality IMO but I would love to see them go down purely for what they did to Palace. I think they will sack Ange pretty quickly and get someone in who will easily keep them up if they are ever in danger. Quite funny how they let a decent manager go to what could become a relegation rival. West Ham and Forest fans probably sit there wondering how it happened with very different outlooks for the future. [Post edited 3 Oct 17:50]

Omari Hutchinson. Used to play for us. First season as a fan?

I am not sure leaving us was the mistake, but Forest was a high risk choice. I don't think this is all 20 20 hindsight - Forest had a remarkable season last year, but they were an accident waiting to happen. Surely he must have known of some of the behind the scenes issues? There were alternatives, and despite the commonly held view at the time that Brentford would be in disarray due to their departures, it always felt that they would offer a better structured development path for Omari. I think it is a great shame and as you say, it is likely that the blame for this is firmly at the door of the agent.

Not sure I'd have him back following the way he acted. Think bridges were burnt.

These choices often seem obvious with the benefit of hindsight. I thought Brentford might struggle this season & that Forest would do fine & they had the pull of European football, which also means more games & opportunities. I'm sure Omari didn't know Nuno was on the way out.

All this. Nuno had them over performing last season, and they got a European campaign off the back of that over performance, owner deserves all he gets if they tumble out of the league as a result.

You are probably right about the specific knowledge of Nuno’s departure, but his representatives were not doing their job if he was unaware of the unstable nature of the relationship with the owner. Of course you are right about the opportunity for European football, and maybe that was the thing that swung it for him.

Ah yeah. That kid who played for us until he didn't want to play for us so had a sulk and refused to turn up for training. I remember now yeah. What a shame he joined a club who are fooked.

There was nothing wrong with his move, other than a lunatic owning the club he moved to

Agree Glasgow. He’s made the choice to step up with £££ to match and I wish him well with it. I loved watching the bloke play and develop while he was here. A privilege. While I fully understand why he wanted to go to a bigger, established PL club I wasn’t keen on how he did it. We deserved better than that and it told me a little bit about him as a person. I hope he has a brilliant career with all that talent but personally, I’ve no desire to see him back at my club. We move on just as he has.

Aren't his agents close with the the director of football who seemed to be a cause of the issues. So really it was a wrong move to make perhaps with all that was going on

Omari on 07:30 - Oct 4 with 365 views | NedPlimpton | Still early days isn't it. People were saying Brentford would be a crisis club when it looked like he might go there. As other have said, forest have a lot of quality and it's only 6 games into the season. Still plenty of time to turn things around, not that they're even in the relegation zone yet, and for Omari to make an impact

Omari on 11:03 - Oct 4 with 53 views | WestSussexBlue | Brave statement to make re us back in the Prem and Forest being potentially relegated. We’re now showing positive signs of progress with this new team, Forest certainly are in a transitional period with Nuno gone and Ange coming in but relegation, no chance. As for Omari, I struggle to see why he’s constantly being harangued. He contributed a hell of a lot in a Town shirt and was a big reason we had Prem football last season. He’s made his decision to try his luck and take an opportunity back in the top league again so good luck to him.
