A far cry from 23-24 when you just somehow knew we'd score from 90 mins onwards. In terms of intensity and drive, we are nowhere near it and teams can easily defend what we are 9 times out of 10 trying to do.

Summed us up a bit. Lacked urgency. I've never seen a team hold on to the ball for so long and get tackled so frequently.

We aren't far off if we sort out all these basic issues.

I certainly am not blaming the refs for tonight but 4 mins added on had me swearing as well. There was that from corners alone. Had that lad down injured for a good 3 minutes when the ref stopped the game.

Protecting their stats, conditioned to be negative and not give the ball away at any cost? Feck knows, but it’s not unique to us. I found the approach at the start of the second half absolutely baffling. The way we strolled around at goal kicks, corners and other dead balls, you'd think we were 4 up. No urgency to get the ball back in play and create pressure. Totally bizarre.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

But (rider here - I'm hardly an expert tactician!) it's a tactical thing not just individual errors - our high press left not just our back door, but the side door, the bifold patio door, and all the downstairs windows wide open for them to just streak through with ease.

It was heartbreaking, watching through hands over face from behind the sofa stuff.
