| Hirst or Azon v QPR 19:20 - Oct 26 with 2887 views | gtsb1966 | Has to be Azon for me. Hirst is shot at the moment. He'll be back but so out of form he needs a re-set. Players to feed off Azon. | | | | |
| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 19:34 - Oct 26 with 2599 views | MrPotatoHead | Seemingly unpopular but Hirst with Ivan off the bench. I don’t think Azon has done much in his 2 starts but has looked a handful against tiring defences. Let Hirst beat them up for an hour and Ivan to come on, it’s what’s yielded our best results. | | | |
| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 19:39 - Oct 26 with 2566 views | GlasgowBlue | Azon. Hirst is very low on confidence. Needs to contribute from the bench for a few games and hope he gets his mojo back, | |

| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 19:42 - Oct 26 with 2542 views | FrimleyBlue | If we go with nunez. I'd like to see how that works with hirst. It could be the closest thing to a hirst Chaplin combo, one he can really work with and also nunez maybe able to put him through like broady used to do. | |

The only thing Hirst has beaten up lately is himself unfortunately.
| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 19:46 - Oct 26 with 2512 views | RIPbobby | Hirst away from home for me to try and boost his confidence. He might get stick in home games so it is best to build up his confidence away from too many critical eyes. | | | |

We’ve won 4 of the last 5 he’s started, he must be doing something right. Needs to find his shooting boots but I don’t think he’s been as bad as many have made out.
| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 19:51 - Oct 26 with 2481 views | bazza | Only thing that frustrates me with azon, is he throws himself on the floor a bit too easily, I’ve noticed we do try to win cheap fouls a lot this season, and it’s kind of backfiring, as we get nothing from the ref. And also, if the ref doesn’t give it, just get back up and chase the ball .. no good whining about it. [Post edited 26 Oct 19:52]

| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 20:56 - Oct 26 with 2186 views | SomethingBlue | I do think with Hirst that it’s been a narrative people decided they’d like to run with after two games. Bit weird to be honest. Clearly not in the best form we’ve seen him but not exactly a disaster either. Still some merit in the idea of him wearing them down for Azon to exploit the spaces later. | |

| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 21:04 - Oct 26 with 2137 views | ghostofescobar | A nothing answer from me really, in that Hirst absolutely is better when we don’t have the ball. His intelligent pressing is still very good, much better than azon, plus his link up play, despite being under par for him is still slightly better than azon. However, azon is definitely getting in better goal scoring opportunities, he just needs a goal. So my final answer is………I don’t frigging know!!! | |

He will score with an instinctive shot, where he doesn't need to think about it, and the confidence will come flooding back. It nearly happened against Boro, but the defender stopped the ball with his hand (and got away with it). At the moment, nothing is coming off for him, which must be hugely frustrating for him, not helped by the reaction he received from some of the crowd during the last 2 games.
| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 21:30 - Oct 26 with 2019 views | LankHenners | Something's not right with Hirst - completely out of form and confidence, the latter not helped by him getting the Muric treatment whereby every time he loses the ball or makes a mistake there are very pointed howls of frustration. Think Azon needs a proper run out at some point, and it may well do Hirst some good to have a bit of pressure taken off him. | |

| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 22:07 - Oct 26 with 1905 views | grow_our_own | Not confident about QPR. It's usually a long-ball slugfest on their subbuteo pitch. No time to control and pick a pass. Rewards the physically dominant, and that's not us. | | | |
| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 22:14 - Oct 26 with 1842 views | Basuco | As always, it depends on the strengths of Ivan/George against the weakness of the QPR defence, then we will see the best player from the start. | | | |
| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 22:26 - Oct 26 with 1790 views | Daninthecampo | Azon for me, Hirst will never be prolific but has always been good in his first touch and hold up play but for some reason that's gone this year. Azons pace and movement seems to encourage more dangerous and quicker balls on the ground, Instead of punts and high balls to Hirst Once Azon gets his first goal he's going to be very dangerous for us | | | |
| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 06:19 - Oct 27 with 1424 views | Churchman | Start with Hirst. He’s a good player who works hard but is out of form. The only way to change that is to play. Give him 60 mins. I’d also keep changes to starting line ups to a minimum. How on earth can players establish partnerships on the pitch with more than half the team being shuffled like cards in a pack every single game? So play him. Hirst will also get less abuse away from home which can only help his confidence. | | | |
| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 06:33 - Oct 27 with 1381 views | franz_tyson | Hirst. I don't see Azon see getting much change out of 2 fresh CBs so id stick with Hirst and hope Azon can make an impact of the bench. It's a bloody difficult job stuck up there on your own.... especially when you're out of form. He can still do a job occupying the CBs for 60-70 mins. It's up to others around him to find the holes and create chances. | | | |

Glad someone else noticed this. Every time he goes up for a header he hits the deck and rolls around holding his head only to get up 10 seconds later. Infuriating.

| Hirst or Azon v QPR on 12:10 - Oct 27 with 892 views | Smoresy | Hirst still does much that we used to like to the same standard as before, imo; he just receives little credit for that now because the forward line is altogether more wasteful and less productive. No doubt he's at the top for most chances missed, in his worst finishing spell in his time here, but I'd wager he was our least clinical starting forward in 23/24 too. He'll take one again soon. I'd start Azón but see the choice as less important than who plays next to Azor, and who plays at 10. | | | |

Yea, a bit annoying, I hope McKenna can slap that out of him as he looks a handful, puts himself A bit which ups the tempo of the game, which is much needed, just hope the goals can follow.

Wouldn't disagree with this. If Hirst got back to doing what he did well in his last Championship season, and not trying to be Delap which it sometimes seems to look like, once he gets a goal or two from open play, will see a boost in his confidence.

Yup and i still remember the big part he paid in the two seasons before the Premier league . He might not be in his best form right now but he will come good again , pretty sure Keiran knowns that .

He's Spanish - can't help doing something so culturally ingrained in him.
