tbf no-one has done anything away from home. Is the QPR pitch smaller than others? I mean I know its a small ground where the stands are close to the pitch, but is the actual pitch that tight? Either way, Jaden isn't too bad in tight spaces either (see nutmeg last week whilst on byline).

| On what planet does Philo NOT start tomorrow.. on 13:13 - Oct 31 with 1725 views | MattinLondon | A flair player has a couple of great matches and a few very quiet ones and they are viewed as being on fire. A keeper makes some great saves, makes a couple of howlers due to the defenders in front of him, and he gets a lot of abuse. Strange world. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

| On what planet does Philo NOT start tomorrow.. on 13:31 - Oct 31 with 1625 views | Guthrum | Philogene may be quiet at times, but that's often because he's got two or three defenders rushing to intercept or block him before he can do Philogene things. Clarke, coming on later, has the advantage that those defenders have by then been chasing around for a hour or more. He will inevitably get a bit more space. Philogene drawing them in ought to leave space for our other attackers to take advantage. But they aren't getting much on target at the moment, so it doesn't work. | |

Surely that is consistent though - in both cases players are being judged for a few notable high/low lights…

His performances have been a bit flaky. Needs to get more croissants into the box.

I think the Loftus Road pitch always seems a lot smaller than most due to the close proximity of the stands to the pitch and the overall ‘tightness’ of it.

| On what planet does Philo NOT start tomorrow.. on 17:03 - Oct 31 with 967 views | HighgateBlue | It's certainly working well enough at the moment in terms of maximising Clarke's contributions. And when Philogene is on song, his tricks are a treat! The way I see it, the flair players are a bit like One Day batsmen. You need each of them to chip in with a big score every now and then, but it's OK if they have a few quiet ones. Philogene and Clarke were both on the naughty step for not having contributed enough, not so long ago, but they have both done a lot to increase their stock with the fans. It's odd to have two such expensive flair players who in effect play the same position, especially when you then factor in Egeli on the right, with his record fee. But hey, Clarke is certainly a super sub, so if Kieran wants to keep the roles as they are, that's fine by me. I don't think it's realistic to expect Philogene to do Philogene things every game. But we do need regular contributions ticking over frequently enough from our front 4. Personally I think the starters at 10 and to some extent 9 are the ones that need to contribute more, and on a more regular basis. Let's see what happens, but Nunez at 10 would be interesting, and I'd go with Azon up top, myself. It may be that we're crossing our fingers hoping that Clarke is on the pitch when we win another penalty! And by the way, our (possibly legitimate) grumbles from last year of not winning enough penalties (or fouls generally) have very much subsided this year. I guess that's partly a function of having a decent amount of possession, and particularly in and around the box. Also maybe clumsier defenders in the champ. Anyway I digress... | | | |

Guess Jupiter is more gassy , so more tricky to actually play football on. Suppose Pluto is the furthest away, so not sure he’d get there in time. Oh god, but is Pluto actually a planet? Wow, this is a tougher question than it initially looked.
