I just looked at the table, they're currently 4 points off safety, but given that team is Southampton who will surely pick up, its effectively 5 to the Pompey and Oxford's of the world.
Its not like they're playing well and being a bit unlucky either is it? Aside from Sheff United I make them the worst side we've faced this season. I just don't see a squad there that's underperforming particularly either, I just don't think they've got anyone very good beyond Sargent.
They also play Leicester & Birmingham in their next 3. If they lose on (and at) Wednesday I really think relegation becomes a very distinct possibility. I've almost been thinking it in jest to this point. |  | | |  |

I wonder if they might regret not selling Sargent earlier. His value must have dropped in recent weeks and they might have to get rid in January, if their form doesn't pick up very soon. |  |

Depends how you see it doesn't it. I think at the weekend they could have put the game to bed with better finishing in the 1st half. They seem to have a good 1st 45 and dire 2nd.
A bit of confidence might see them climb. I'm still not convinced there are not 2 worse teams that they will be able to climb above.
Let's hope they stick with Manning until its too late.
Rumours are they fancy Dave Challinior from Stickport. Other options seem to be evaporating fast. Watched the Talk Norwich City podcast earlier. They are in the very dangerous toxic space where the fans are waiting in the car park to confront the players after games, which never acts as a very good motivator. I cannot believe they have not sacked Manning yet, and they are in danger of leaving it too late even if they pull the trigger at the next international break.
Placid, reasonable Reeve from the podcast has become an angry, angry man, while the other one seems to have slipped into some sort of thousand yard stare despair. I notice he was very, very quiet after the derby having had a lot to say about that fixture in the past. |  |

One thrower of said balls was apparently escorted out the ground and told his season ticket will be recidned. So despite shelving the planned move of some season ticket holders to copy our fanzone (they dont want a fanzone, they alresdy have riverside -or just not many fans perhaps-) they are still managing to drive a wedge between club and supporters. | |

As crap as they are, i think there are worse teams, unfortunately, and teams still likely to get points deductions which will as always, mean they get away with any of the brown stuff landing.
I watched their last game v Hull, and scum should have 4 - 0 up by half time, tbh, but their finishing is abysmal... will that continue though? Hopefully YES! |  |
