Interrsting take from them that we were in full-tilt,2nd half shythousery tactics despite having already won the game......did we?

I still remember their article after they beat us at PR in our relegation season, that was funny and tragic in equal measure.

Don’t recall that, Hirst and Davis were genuinely injured - although McKenna did talk Hirst to slow down coming off to allow Akpom to get ready.

On the Furlong throw thing it’s not a foul throw if the foot is over the line so long as some of the foot is still touching the line, expect that’s what was happening.

'Perhaps chief among the ballaches though, was you felt like Christian Walton in the visiting goal was eminently gettable. Flapping around like Christ in a crucifix shop all afternoon, dropping this and that, bitching and moaning to the referee, an absolute old woman of a man. He’d already cost his team an equalising goal when Ilias Chair’s trademark shot on a cut inside bounced in front of him and brought a poor parry straight back into traffic and the in form Rumarn Burrell reacted first to stick in his fourth of the season. Did we go near him again after that? Reader, we did not.'

So good.

I am not sure on the shithousery, the players that went down like Hirst and Davis went off injured. McAteer went down when he caught a shot wrong but ref carried on and he hobbled up and ran it off. Most looked genuine going down than time wasting.

He gave Walton 4/10
It was a very bad save / parry for the goal.
I wonder if we are still thinking about making the serious Keeper signing that Muric was supposed to be.
There's no way we can do the Prem again without a new one.

To be fair to Walton, he did make a couple of good saves later in the game.

ok but he isn't our No1 Prem keeper.

There was a Keeper on MotD ( can't remember who ) who was blindingly good. He made a really good stop and a good attempt to push a shot away to a safe place and the pundits were saying - 'that's very poor"

I think that was a fairly accurate take unfortunately...quite a few incidents, and a couple of them were pretty embarrassing (as mentioned elsewhere, one incident from McAteer where he was rolling around and then miraculously recovered when he realised the ref wasn't going to stop play and let the game continue, and one not mentioned where the ball dropped on Furlong's head when he was down on the ground by the touchline, and he reacted like he'd just taken a jab from Fabio Wardley)

Might have been a bit of desperation / low confidence to get that first away win over the line, but pretty sure we were already 4-1 up when both of those incidents occurred, so really unnecessary...

As entertainment goes, Clive always delivers, a great weekend all round, results going our way, a 4-1 away win, and the Budgies Reeve's both going into meltdown.

Got to savour these days.

He isn't our No1 Championship keeper to be fair.

Its certainly a position we will upgrade if we were to go up, I don't think any of the keepers on the books today would be seen as number 1 for us if we got back to the premier league.
