Anyone want to hazard a guess which questions might be asked?

I'm going to go early with:

"Not a question, really, but I just want to say thank you to Mark, Ed, and Kieran for all you've done for the club. I think you're all amazing and we're so lucky to have you all at the club."

That, and probably something about bottle caps and PA systems.

Can someone ask a really long question, which starts off seemingly ok, but descends into a random sequence of unconnected thoughts? Long enough for everyone to look at their watches and glance at each other but not long enough for the moderator to interrupt to ask whether the questioner actually has a point to make?

Tbh, if tonight is like last time (200 people in the room, about five of whom actually have a question to ask), they'll probably just be grateful for someone asking a question by 7:45, even if it's just whether Ashton would rather fight one horse-sized duck, or one hundred duck-sized horses.

I feel the club are ignoring a large part of the fanbase by not providing live streams via town tv on the groundsman activities.

Does the club have any plans to air such content, if not, do it!

We were told by Mr Ashton that we’d move fast and be aggressive in the summer transfer windows, do the club believe they wasted so much time on targets that were miles out of our reached, or with no real desire to join us, which resulted in us making rushed 3rd 4th choice signings, which ultimately led to a poor/slow start to the season?

I think the politeness/venom with which a question is asked must be proportionate to how we're actually doing. If we were two thirds of the way down the table, then this question may be justified, but I would suggest that even then, asking it in that way is not likely to encourage voluntary accountability in the future. But given that things have improved from a poor start, it's unnecessary to be so aggressive.

I completely agree that the start was poor. There may be a number of reasons for that, and it's possible that the one you suggest was one of those reasons. But if you ask the question in a slightly more generous way, you're likely to get a more generous answer.

As regards the specifics of the allegations, I'm not sure what evidence there is that we were chasing players way out of our proper range. Hackney would have been a fantastic signing, and I have little doubt he'll be in the premier league before too long. He wasn't miles out of our reach - he came to the club but ultimately decided against us, which is fair enough.

Of course they will have an exit strategy however they’re not going to make that public are they.

They won’t, but it would be worthwhile having on record how they did answer it.

I reckon he'd choose the horse size duck.

I wonder if the away fans will eventually enter the stand from Portman Road when they are relocated there?

Presumably it's because girls are now allowed to attend the football and Yorkie is famously not for girls. Utter woke nonsense.

I’ve absolutely no idea how what I wrote came across as aggressive, seems a you problem there I’m afraid.

I’m not suggesting this is shouted as a question, purely asked in a calm respectful manner.

No way were the likes of Mcateer and Furlong our first choice signings, the latter has been fine though. But I firmly believe we spent time chasing players that were out of range.

And as it my question to ask It doesn’t really matter what others I think. That said, I’m sure the range of questions will be typically so pathetic (Wi-Fi) that no proper questions will be asked.

I'd like to see someone ask:
"All the huge derby matches , be it Spurs v Arsenal, Liverpool v Man U, Celtic v Rangers are matches that kick off at reasonable times. There is never any real trouble between ITFC and Norwich, so can the 2 clubs put more pressure on the local police to allow our local derby games to be 3 pm kick offs, preferably on a Saturday?"

You have answered your own question, why would they change if no problems . It has nothing to do with other matches.

The big question that should be asked: Why have you swapped Yorkies for cadbury chocolate at the food and drink outlets in the stands?

I actually prefer cadbury chocolate, but it's the football, and they should sell Yorkies.

Thank you for your question, Dubs, and you make a very good point. Of course we all love Cadbury's and it's absolutely the right thing that the outlets sell it. What I hadn't realised is that they had stopped stocking Yorkies. But you should realise a couple of things. First, we are limited on space in our retail outlets and stocking more varieties will mean less of each item in stock and a greater chance of running out. Second, if we did stock a wider range it would make serving customers more complex and time-consuming. One thing we always get complaints about is the length of the queues and we don't want to do anything that will increase them. I'll tell you what, though, Dubs, if you are that desperate for a Yorkie next time you are at Portman Road, I will make a point of bringing one with me and, if you come and find me at half time, you can buy it off for me for a fiver.

Yours, Mark A.
