Agreed. We need another midfielder and I'd sort out Azon's contract and see whether we can't return him to his club, making way for someone else to come in.
I think the biggest question surrounding this team is that should we return to the Prem are we any better than last season and given that Delap and Hutch have departed I very much doubt it. Too many players off the pace. Whether that's just because they have gelled or because they are simply not good enough who knows.

Shows what you know, had our only real effort at goal and created it himself, cleared One virtually off the line at the other end and generally defended solidly, yes a couple of errors where others made loads !!! Look at our great leader, makes dozens of f*** up's every game. | | | |

When building a squad it’s rare you get it perfect instantly, you think of our Paul Cook summer before McKenna arrived, there were many successes we bought in Burns, Chaplin, Morsy, Walton etc but there were also many we got wrong that we had to move on as well; Pigott, Fraser, Harper, Penney.
We are in that position again, just with larger sums involved in fees, but nevertheless we need to move people on to build a squad for the PL.
We are where we were in early 21/22, when we were building a Championship squad in L1, but now we are one step ahead, building a PL squad in the Championship. |  | | |
