Who can we move out in January 17:15 - Dec 13 with 1646 viewsgtsb1966

so we can add some quality up front and in midfield. It's a shame we have to keep Akpom for the season as he his absolutely a waste of a squad place. Im trying to think who we will realistically get rid of either by loaning them out or a transfer. Akpom and McAteer have really been disappointing. McAteer loaned out?

I don't think we can. If we go up, we have to pay for him.

It's depressing that each window seems to be a patch up and repair job given the millions already spent.

Get summer transfer window all wrong. Hope to fix it in January. Repeat.

It's a disgrace if we're stuck with Akpom, he's been utter doggo from the get go. And not even our player.

Mcateer is another we may as well try and cut losses on.

Azon I cut more slack for but he doesn't look good enough.

That's before we get to the ones who have something to offer in the squad but are majorly underperforming... Cajuste, Greaves, Clarke, Szmodics.

So much dross for so much money...

alas it will likely be old faves / young'uns like Burns, Clarke, Humphreys and Baggott will give us the room to bring in any new faces, rather than returning loanees that haven't worked out

I'd get shot of Baggott and Humphries and loan out Clarke to get his fitness back

Be worth it even if we have to pay a fee to pull out of the deal (like Chelsea did with Sancho) if that is even an option.

Whilst we’ve overpaid for a number of players recently, on the plus side, we look like we should recoup all our money (possibly make a small profit) on Muric. That didn’t look likely when we shipped him out…

Surprised Cam didn’t get some minutes today, nothing to lose really but played Young in midfield at one point.

Cant see them going, and I think they will come good, or J Clarke - he is our joint top scorer so why would he - or is he this weeks scapegoat

I wouldn't give up on Akpom yet. We might need to modify the way we play a bit - i.e away from an isolated and static #9 - but with Nunez often making a 2 up front in the last few games, Akpom/Azon and Nunez/ Szmodics might work with more movement and playing the ball into space.

Don't think he is as good as the rest of the squad - many ahead of him. Remember what we don't see is that Kieran and the coaches see in training. If he was that impressive and the game suited him, he would be given his chance

Would that be the same training KM always refers too after we've played badly. The same training that we'll work hard at to improve and cut out the mistakes. The same training we've been doing since August?

Then I wonder wtf McK and his team are seeing in McAteer, Akpom, Hirst in training?

So they did, I actually wouldn't be aversed to letting a big player going as long as their replacement is better suited to our system and a decent player themselves

Obviously what you are not! Why assume Humphries is up to it - he hasn't played so you can't compare against the others.

Any replacement will take time to bed in, and we don't have that. I'd keep the nucleus of the squad together and let a couple of the fringe players go and get minimal replacements - one, maybe too so we don't have to bring new players up to speed on our style

Exactly - he was the best thing last week
Same as Jaden - loads wanted him out and a couple of worldies and he's the new favourite. I feel for Sindre when he has a bad game, which will happen, as he will be the weekly scapegoat

Na. They are further down the queue. Humphreys is a good player. AND...try and keep Conor Townsend. A good pro footballer.

Szmodics...Young....McAteer....Akpon.....Burns.....could be on some supporters disposal list
