May even wear my rainbow laces to the game.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Oh yes, let’s all lump on our greatest captain in recent memory, who drove a team that gave ALL of us such incredible moments and memories, just because he was brought up in a different world to believe different things to us.

Always a difficult subject. Still think km should have given chappers the armband for those games.

I don't think human rights is something we should cede ground on, personally

I'm not sure urban Wolverhampton and, say, Kesgrave, quite represent the "same world"

I accept you probably don't mean it this way but homophobia isn't something which should be cast aside because someone's been successful.

Good assumption..... albeit incorrect

However.....

Its been done to death many many times, surely we dont need to do it again , especially bearing in mind he no longer plays for us.

When it all happened last year, I came out on here. It was the most difficult post I've ever made - ranting about football, though ridiculously over the top and stupid on many occasions - is far safer. But, in reality, writing that post changed nothing. So perhaps you're right with this, as tough as it is to admit it.

You'll never change the minds of bigots in the crowd etc. But making sure they're not tolerated or welcome will fix it.

The same world where gay people still suffer abuse and discrimination? I'm not sure we are in a position to take the high ground here. We are all a product of our upbringing.

I mean a dead Nazi is the best kind.....

I think it's really important ITFC crowds remain somewhere where racism, homophobia, etc isn't welcomed or tolerated. I know social media distorts it, makes these people braver or whatever but it needs stamping out.

I hope you dont think im belittling the issue, I just honestly believe that we dont need to rake up the Morsy thing again.

Nobody should be treated any differently due to their sexuality, it shouldn't even be anyone else's business. I truly hope you dont experience anything at Portman Road or on here (or absolutely anywhere for that matter - although I sadly assume thats not the case)
