Agree. Oxford did brilliantly to survive last season and it was bringing in Rowett that achieved that. They were punching above their weight and still are. Having two very strong sides that come up from League One for this season hasn't elevated them in terms of seniority in this division either. |  |

As an aside, it's not the first time in his career that Rowett has been sacked seemingly unfairly or prematurely.
It makes you wonder if he's a really difficult person to deal with because very few owners seem to give him the benefit of the doubt when the chips are down, despite a really good track record. | | | |
