Our away ends have been very weird lately. There’s people who just stand there. That’s it. They don’t react to anything going on during the game, they don’t even turn to talk to the person that they’re at the game with. Just pure nothingness for the entire time.
Like sitters said, if you’re going to make an effort to go, you might as well get involved with some singing! Otherwise whats the fcking point of going? If you’re going to be silent you might as well do it in the warmth and comfort of your front room. |  | | |

If you've bought your ticket its entirely upto you how you "experience" or "engage" with the game. You're there thats good enough for me. If you dont want to sing no issue, some of us cant anymore, it happens when you get older, equally you might just be about holding yourself together being there over this Christmas period. You dont know what people are carrying mentally with them at this time of year. So give them a break, im sure they'd have cheered if we scored or won the game. | | | |

I have seen a few of these fans too during a decent performance. There to hang out with mates and get out of the house. Think they're just subdued unless its s top team and just turn up for the rest. [Post edited 26 Dec 22:22]

The ticket sales got to General Sale, so there was probably a fair few 'day trippers'.
