Hirst's injury is a blow, but there is a player here in Azon and with a bit of luck, he could easily be on 6-8 goals. He is another who is working really hard off the ball. get behind hm.
Finally a number of you believed Philogene was a complete waste of money, you all now worship him, McAteer is a decent player, Kmac will improve him too, keep the faith.

Although I don't know why she has to go down in her nightie to take the bottles in person every morning, nor why it takes her so long to put them away and get back upstairs, nor why she has to shake and clink the bottles so much before slamming them down on the dining room table every day.

I am not likening us to Arsenal but when they struggle to find the right striker, until they eventually signed Gyokeres, you know it’s a tough position to fill. I think we were very lucky/ clever to get hold of Delap for that short period of time (and Hutchinson too.) Imagine this team with those two in - but there’s not a queue of like for like players. Walle-Egeli another great piece of business but needs time, were finding the right players but as others have said there’s not many in the positions we want that want to play in the Championship.
Despite Wolves coming down- most players would want half a season with them in the Prem over us, just to showcase their talent on a bigger stage. Shame but very faith things will work out and hopefully a couple of decent signings in Jan. |  |

As an aside on Hutchinson, did anyone notice there was no somersault celebration after his equaliser against Citeh on Saturday ? Seems like playing for forest is not quite as joyful as playing for Town. | |

Well he was given an opportunity at the beginning of the season and McKenna had clearly seen enough to send him out on loan. He cost us £8m, and I can honestly say he done nothing more in his games than McAteer done for us.

I'll be surprised if anything happens early January. Once Prem teams get their shopping sorted, they may be looking to offload. A young loanee with a permanent option wouldn't be such a bad thing. That's not what I said. I said that finding a striker in our price range who suits our style of play and wants to join us isn't easy. That we signed McAteer who isn't a striker, was in our price range, and wanted to join us doesn't really have anything to do with that. | |
