I’ve not complained once about us this season but this type of post I’ll complain about…it’s really tedious.

If you are happy with the team, think we are playing well, think the manager is doing a top job or whatever...
...post about it. Its interesting to see different viewpoints. Make your case. Spread the cheer.
But stop attacking posters who disagree with you. Stop trying to discredit others' opinions by calling them "hot takes". Stop trying to shut down discussion. Its really bad faith posting and I can't be doing with it. |  | | |

Not looking for an arguement with you at all, but for balance I would ask why you've chosen to post here against the OP, but I don't think you've made any comments in the other thread about losing at Cov today. Apologies if you have.
The board is horribly polarised these days and although my bias is towards the more positive threads, I would say that it feels like the negative threads are generally more agressive and spikey and that the kick back on positive posts such as this one is equally more agressive.
I know your post isn't aggressive in anyway at all, but again, I have to note that you're calling out a positive poster and not a negative one. |  |

I swear, some on here were happier applauding us to a gutless relegation under Lambert's 'after you Claude' style of play rather than challenging for promotion watching a team that isn't entirely firing fully under a proven manager. [Post edited 29 Dec 15:02]

Oh I hear you and agree with so much of what you say. No argument necessary or needed there.
I might have today’s negative poster on ignore - there’s a few of the most extremely negative posters that I’ve had to just turn off due to the incessant negativity. This is the first time in a very long time I’ve gone from ignoring one or two posters to having a whole bunch of them. I appreciate that probably just leaves me with mostly positive posters but I think I’ve filtered out the ones who do my head in the most (and that’s more about maintaining my sanity than their insanity lol)
I just thought this thread was unnecessary and poking the bear on what is a polarized site. | |

People are allowed to moan! It’s kind of the idea of a forum, discuss all things ITFC, be it good or bad.

This is the type of polarising comment that leads precisely to the OP's initial post. Just because someone claims that someone else is being overly negative with some of the really bizarre, extreme rants, that doesn't mean that they are "happy with the team, think we are playing well, think the manager is doing a top job".
There's a middle ground you know, and some just seem to have lost sight of that. We're not doing as well as most of us would have liked, and the team hasn't hit it's potential - yet. Despite this we're still well in sight of the automatics. | | | |
