| Nunez on 20:17 - Dec 29 with 972 views | The_Flashing_Smile | Funnily enough, I thought he was a peripheral figure for most of it. 8 assists in half a season (including 1 for the scum) is pretty decent. | |

| Nunez on 20:17 - Dec 29 with 975 views | SWLondonBlue93 | We might not have initially signed him to play number ten but he has 100% nailed down the spot now. He has the ability to produce that bit of magic, more akin to Chaplin than either Szmodics or Akpom, that crossfield ball to Clarke was class. | | | |

Not sure its magic as such and he was largely quiet today. Key is composure in the box and a really good touch and vision.
| Nunez on 20:43 - Dec 29 with 753 views | BseaBlue | Quietly going about his business. He can be scruffy at times and not overly physical but he just has those moments where he will make something happen for us. That ball to Clarke by the way was absolute quality. | | | |

Compared to rest of the team thought he had a pretty average performance and still had 2 assists. He does seem to make contributions in a lot of matches where he’s been quiet for most of the game though. In fairness there were a lot of really good performances from other players so perhaps I’m being a bit harsh when I say he was average. The bar was set very high tonight.

He did the small things well too holding up the ball when we were being pressed hard. I noticed he kept drifting out to the right tonight which was helping him find space and causing space to open up in the middle (not sure if this was a tactic or just something that happened naturally). Astounding that we’ve gone from having nobody in the 10 position performing to having the best creative player in the league. Alongside Matisuwa it would really hurt us to lose him, he’s providing virtually all our assists. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Everything Nunez does is positive. Forwards. It’s his first reaction. He’s an infectious character and when you see him live he has a little bit of presence to him. Yes, he can be a bit scruffy and his finishing is errr, marginal, but I like him a lot. Flippin’ good player.

Really thought was marginal tonight along with the rest of the front 4 bar Clarke
| Nunez on 23:32 - Dec 29 with 146 views | Blooos | I think we need to sign a proper 10 still, then just play Nunez next to Matusiwa. Nunez is picking up some good assists but he’s still not naturally a 10 and it does show often, drifts out of games regularly. Has done a great job filling the gap though | | | |

But things happen around him. Just to slap a little icing and cherry on the top, the 12 finger mob on Pinkun are still chewing the carpet over him.
