Compared to rest of the team thought he had a pretty average performance and still had 2 assists.
He does seem to make contributions in a lot of matches where he’s been quiet for most of the game though. In fairness there were a lot of really good performances from other players so perhaps I’m being a bit harsh when I say he was average. The bar was set very high tonight. | | | |

He did the small things well too holding up the ball when we were being pressed hard. I noticed he kept drifting out to the right tonight which was helping him find space and causing space to open up in the middle (not sure if this was a tactic or just something that happened naturally).
Astounding that we’ve gone from having nobody in the 10 position performing to having the best creative player in the league. Alongside Matisuwa it would really hurt us to lose him, he’s providing virtually all our assists. | | | |

I think we need to sign a proper 10 still, then just play Nunez next to Matusiwa. Nunez is picking up some good assists but he’s still not naturally a 10 and it does show often, drifts out of games regularly. Has done a great job filling the gap though | | | |
