I did the one top of my list in November just gone, a road trip from the top of New Zealand to the very south. Was an absolutely amazing experience.
Now got to think of something else, not sure what can beat the scenery of New Zealand though. |
Have you seen much of Scotland? New Zealand is indeed a special place, but I would really recommend the north / west coast of Scotland and Hebrides / Outer Hebrides for areas closer to home that go a long way to matching NZ if breath taking scenery is your thing. My wife's family are all from Ireland, but her brother moved from Dublin to Inverness a few years ago to be closer to his wife's family, so I've been lucky enough to do some exploring up there. Absolutely stunning and I would recommend. |  | | |

It’s interesting how many of these are travel related. Nothing at all wrong with that - it’s a very personal thing.
If I was to choose one place to see and experience, it’d be Japan. I’ve read about it, seen pictures and films, seen documentaries on it but I still have no idea what it’s like.
But my top of the list is not travel related. The one thing I am going to do this year if I can is to fly a Spitfire. And I do mean actually fly it. It’s a ‘must do’ for me. | | | |
