They were much more ambitious in their approach than at PR. Don't suppose its a decision based off 1 game though, they've been trending down for a while and are in poor form, only 2 wins since the end of November.

I guess it makes sense to have a new manager in while the transfer window is still open

I think i heard a stat that they have lost 9 or 10 away games on the bounce. They look like they are almost a good team, but for all of the lovely passing they do they create very little.

Worse than Derby? Derby players did spend most of the game sitting down so perhaps that doesn't count.

But how do you asses the wants and needs of the team/club as a new manager at this time? Once you are in the window is close to an end.

| Another sacking… on 13:14 - Jan 6 with 880 views | Swansea_Blue | Since Bilic was sacked in Dec 2020, their managers have survived 26, 31, 32, 107 (hurray!), 18 and 27 games. 5 mangers in 5 years, excluding caretakers. And the next one will be their 5th manager since the start of 2025 including caretakers. No wonder they’re in a mess. | |

Wow, that’s a set of stats, Swansea. For anyone getting that job, it’s best to rent rather than buy or even live in a hotel! I guess it shows that unless things are right behind the scenes at a club, whoever the mug in the dugout is, he stands no chance.

Or, Ashton had more nous about selecting a manager than the hapless Marcus Evans, who chose 5 duds from 6 attempts, no doubt assisted by his "football adviser", Harry Redknapp.
