This looks like a classic hula-hoops/Wotsits ploy to me.

There are no Tyrrell's crisps available, so MA needs to prepare us for accepting Hula-Hoops. The prospect of Hula-Hoops gets a luke-warm reception until there's the possibility that we might have to settle for just Wotsits.

In the end the Hula-Hoops get delivered and everyone breathes a sigh of relief.

Would rather we sign Lyn the Dyke who works behind the bar at the Fat Cat.

(Apologies is there actually is anyone called Lyn who works at the Fat Cat!)

Tyrrells are terrible crisps and Lyndon Dykes is not Wotsits, Wotsits are a very solid crisp (obviously not in every sense of the word) he's more of a Scampi and Lemon Nik Naks.

Wow, easy tiger. What are you looking for in a crisp that leads you to say that Tyrrells are terrible?

Great question. Though yer Tyrrells is clearly a fine crisp, but is it really any better then yer classic ready salted walkers?

Tyrrells is certainly my go to salt and vinegar flavoured crisp despite the fact they are, by weight, about the same price as rump steak.

Definitely prefer Tyrrells but I'm not sure they are significantly better than Walkers.

I have to confess,( at the risk of being ostracised from the community) that i am not a fan of Taytos. Especially the vomit inducing cheese and onion, and they don't even make a ready salted option...

Yet neither Walkers nor Tyrrells come close to matching McCoys
