Sorry we are not a nursery for Prem juniors. When we got promoted we built up a points buffer, currently we do not have and therefore don't have the luxury to take on young and possibly talented players. Ben Johnson is strong and could help. Ok use Paez in the Academy but not first team. We need experienced football warhorses.
You could have said the same about Hutchinson. Look how that turned out.
As others have pointed out, Paez has more experience than Hutch did.

Agree with others that this would count towards our squad limit (believe the rule may be different in L1).
Enner Valencia remains Ecuador's talisman up front, which is a blast from the distant past and surely alludes to their limited attacking options, but even so it's impressive to see so many caps at a tender age.
If he isn't receiving the desired minutes for Strasbourg then we'd be a logical next step for the lad.

Hirst, Akpom, Azon. I think we're stuck with Akpom, not sure on Azon, but I think Azon is the closest to being our recognised striker right now with no Hirst, I know the goals aren't there yet, but he does so much right.

I can't profess to knowing too much about him, but the video suggests he's most effective coming in off the right. So is he more of a rotation player with Egeli? I think we all saw how off the pace Burns was against Oxford. It'll take him several weeks (months?) to get back fully up to speed IMO.
I’m so glad Burns had his Coventry moment. If we are being honest though he’s barely touched the ball in his cameos outside of that and looks understandably quite a way off the pace, it would be wrong to expect much from him for the second half of the season. Horrible injury to come back from and into his 30s now. Was surprised some people were debating if he would’ve starting league games soon.
