Not slagging people off because circumstances are a very real thing. But we have 6,000 on a season ticket waiting list.
Of course, these people could be going to the game anyway having bought a ticket but I'm sure there's a good % that aren't turning up and just want one to have one if we go up.
IMO the club should be looking at people on the list - nothing crazy, but if they're not attending at least like 1 in 10 games, then why are they on the list? I don't have a ST myself (gave it up after the L1 promotion due to moving away, then moved back, doh) but have had no real trouble getting one this year, even for games like Norwich and Coventry. Loads of people are skint. The cost of living and sh1t caused over the last couple of decades is catching up with more and more people it seems.
I was out last night and in a fairly affluent market town everywhere was dead. The taxi driver was grateful for the business and the rank was full on a Friday night. |  |

I have had this conversation with supporters of clubs who say “we have 20000 on the waiting list..”
Waiting lists do not equate to definite sales of one becomes available. It’s merely an expression of interest. |  | | |

I do not think I could be classed as poor by any means. Not rich, but not poor. But January I find I am a bit short of the readies and I suppose if you are a young chap with a couple of kids and a mortgage it really will catch up with you.
Also being on Sky if you live a bit out of town whereas those that go to the game have little time for a few jars of the amber nectar whereas popping down to the local at around half eleven to twelve ish you can watch the match, sit in comfort and have a few jars. | | | |

And this is the issue with home tickets; the lack of any priority means getting a decent ticket means waiting for the last-minute resale - for many coming from some distance away that is now far too late. |  |
