| Poor away support from Bournemouth on 20:52 - Jan 19 with 1425 views | portmanking | It's the atmosphere that gets me the most. It's dead. Anyone with half a brain cell can see that the PL has sucked the life out of Brighton over the last 3-4 years. Yes, they are doing well, but there's an invisible glass ceiling. I'd take their status, don't get me wrong, but it must be a tad flat/boring knowing the best you can do is 8th/9th every season. | | | |

Exactly this. They are comfortably numb, with all their analytics and money, they’ll still never really amount to anything. It’s what we’re aiming to be, I guess.

we would, because naturally people get older and would think, for example, ‘i’ve been there X amount of times i’ll miss this one’ then tickets get snapped up by those younger fans that haven’t been before.

It's expensive to be a fan or travel, especially in this system.

I am planning a trip from Cambridge to Northampton. Maybe because both teams used to be on Match of the Week I thought they must be reasonably close to each other. So I was a bit surprised that again that on the train you have to go via London. 2 hours 45 minutes to do what is a 55-mile road trip. Oh Mr Beeching.

That's absolutely mental when you consider that you have a South to North connector hub like Peterborough between the two. Even from Cambs to Peterboro, you have to change at Ely.
