again ill believe rumours when i see proper sources report it, but you can make a solid arguement for another CM, it allows nunez to stay as no10 then for example we got JWP as the 8 with jens as backup and matisiwa as 6 with taylor as backup so there is logic to it even if its not so credible source | | | |

Does seem likely to be rather expensive as a cover option for Matusiwa, especially given the latter's record for not missing games.
The only real advantage I can see is a possibility of the loan becoming permanent if we are promoted. |  |

But we will only want a really top quality player to supercede Cajuste and Taylor, given their improving/surprisingly good performances as the season has progressed. Otherwise we may as well wait and hire somebody at the next level once we are actually a Prem club (widening the pool of potential recruits).
For me, our only substantial "need" this window (more of a "want", really) is having someone to cover Matusiwa should he get injured or suspended*. We don't currently have an obvious option for this and he is such a key player in our defensive and recycling tactics. Ashley Young might be able to do a job there temporarily, maybe even Greaves? But neither is a specialist.
