Wouldn’t be surprised if Palmer returns in next couple of games

For their second goal it parried ball out in to dangerous areas

For the third he was beaten on near post

Might be a bit harsh but let’s wait and see

Third beaten at the near post by a deflection!

Poll: Lambert goes, would you prefer an ex-Town connection replacement or not?

Defo too harsh

Poll: Will Paul Lambert be Ipswich Town manager on the final day of this season ?

He shouldn't be dropped. If today is a measure to drop players then we'll make about 8 changes next week.

Apart from Walton.... how did the rest of the team play?

Easiest job in the world.... dig out 1 individual... replace them.... job done.

I think we were outplayed and deservedly lost to a better team on the day.

I agree the whole side was awful

I just think McKenna sees Palmer as No 1 and is looking for any excuse to get him back in side

Huh? McKenna thinks Palmer is better but needs an excuse to put him in the team?

Out of interest, why do you think "McKenna is looking for any excuse" to get Palmer back in the side???

Harsh. I personally rate Palmer higher than Walton BUT I can’t see that Walton has done too much wrong.

Huh......if McKenna thinks Palmer is better then he'd play him. Wallers has played well and kept clean sheets. Kieran wants to win matches.... and does politics when he wants to.
The whole team was under par... don't go looking for a easy target.

Leave CW in goal. Walton beaten by 3 on 1 and a massive deflection after saving two or three goal-bound shots in he box after defensive lapses.

So we drop a keeper who before today had conceded 1 goal in the past 5 league games.

Genuinely baffled why he thinks this about McKenna and Palmer? Can't see any justifiable reason to drop Walton currently.

Sat down on the first one before O’Hare had even taken his shot.

Parried the ball back out in to a ridiculous area for the second goal.

Beaten at his near post for the third goal.

If we had any b0ll0x about this final week of the window, we’d sign a new keeper.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

That's a really poor take.
I didnt think Walton was to blame for any of the goals. He made some great saves and was too often exposed by an outfield that simply wasn't at the races.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
Poll: Which recent triallist should we have signed?

He’d conceded 1 in 5 games before today. He wasn’t great today but there wasn’t a decent individual performance from anyone in a blue shirt. They win and lose as a team. Trying to scapegoat or pin that result or performance on one player is daft.

Poll: Most enjoyable calendar year as an Ipswich supporter

Bloke with the most clean sheets in the division despite playing many fewer games than some.

Sounds like a good plan.

He cost us the 2nd and 3rd goal. Hes had clean sheets because teams haven’t had chances recently. At some point we still need to upgrade our keeper

It's harsh but he directed the ball back into danger which led to the shot coming back in

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Walton's been fantastic since he came in and keeps his place. He's slightly better than Palmer in every aspect of his game, for me. Wasn't even a poor performance from him today.

I never said Walton deserves to be dropped.

Until Palmer got injured he was 1st choice ahead of Walton

Just got a feeling Palmer might get back in
