it doesn't alter the result. but it's a serious lesson that returning officers need to focus on for future elections. free and fair elections don't include coerced voting which is the implication here. |
Yes, it's a long-standing minor weakness of the system that more than one person has always been able to go into a voting booth.
Not sure how you can remove that minor weakness without disadvantaging disabled people though.
A different issue, but I'm - on balance - marginally in favour of compulsory ID for voting and other carefully limited specific purposes, by the way. |  |

Pointing out a tweet from Farage doesn’t immediately make you a racist, and equally saying something isn’t racist doesn’t make you racist either.
