Kipre - Sky Man of the match 22:18 - Mar 10 with 906 viewsBseaBlue

Hilarious really. Yes, he gets the assist for the goal but he got sat down dor the first goal, played a suicide pass for the second and then gets caught out of possession in no mans land and gives a penalty away!

Not just his fault of course but the goals we have given away are criminal.

Bring back Greaves.

I did think that. Given how much Davis bombs on he really is not the man you want in a 1-1 with a quick and agile winger.

For defenders to get MOTM they have to to the first part of defending really well.

I actually thought Oshea was much better and none of the goals on him.

Award was made before the pen.
But was a bonkers decision

That first goal should have been enough to rule him out.

Yeah although not easy to pick an individual tonight!

Kipre has been great for us and I hope we keep him permanently. Just thought the man of the match award was odd!

The award was before the penalty, but it was a mad decision even before that. Aside from the goal assist he had a pretty poor game.

Very mixed night for him. I actually think it's not a bad shout (obviously awarded before the pen). If you watched back the second half you'd seen numerous important clearances, and obviously the assist.

Easy to focus on the negatives, but arguably he had a better night than most.

I can't believe that if we get promoted, we are obliged to pay £21million for Cedric, Akpom and Cajuste.

I think Kipre has been more solid than Greaves personally. Just an off night from him. Hopefully Greavea can hit the ground running for the next couple of games.

I think people might realise how important Kipre is for us.

How much work he and O'Shea have to get through, not just defensively but offensively too, is incredible. They're basically expected to be our playmakers when we recycle the ball.

Had an air kick for Leicesters goal on Saturday as well.

He's not been at the level of O'Shea for a while now but has kept his place in the name of consistency.

Desperately need Greaves to come in and dominate from Saturday onwards.

Yeah...he makes as many mistakes, if not more, than Kipre.

It wasn't a suicide pass. Taylor could have passed to his O'Shea or Davis but hesitated on the ball.

We've played that pass so many times over the past 3 years. I can count on one hand how many times it's cost us a goal.

Taylor cant see behind him though. Kipre gives it to him without having an obvious out ball.

Back to the keeper is the obvious ball surely?

Taylor rarely does things quickly, often needing two or three touches before using the ball, and that's what stuffed him here. The first touch was terrible and he's then in all sorts of trouble, whereas if he'd played it first time then the routine works as it does every week for us.

Taylor is literally facing our goal when he receives the ball.

Kipre got decent tackle in for the first goal, lucky ricochet kept ball with Stoke player. Played a fair pass for the second that Taylor, with zero pictures in his head (because he plays with it down) turns into a Stoke player and gives the ball away. And for the third, Kipre desperately tries to clean-up a botched Davis clearance in the 93rd minute, and yes presses after his own header because nobody else was. There fixed it for you.

Perhaps a month's rest will do him some good. A fresh Kipre for the run-in would be superb!

Let's just hope that not too much damage is done in those two games though.
