A win on Easter Monday followed by a trip to Norwich. A midweek fixture, and then at home to Middlesbrough.

I did a survey on a Norwich fan's house this morning, and got chatting football with him. Nice chap; certainly the kind of Norwich fan who I have time for - passionate about his football but none of the unpleasantness that often comes with the rivalry.
When you take away the bravado etc., they seem to be just as nervous about Saturday as we are. It certainly sounds as if all sides would gladly take a draw and just move on. | |

I can quite see the Charlton and WBA trips yielding a couple of unhelpful draws, before we go and pull it out of the bag against Soton, in much the same way as we did against Coventry in 2024.

Theoretically we could, of course, have promotion tied up before the final day. If we win our next 5 Boro wouldn't be able to catch us, and Millwall would need perfect form to be able to stay 3 behind, and even then the GD will be insurmountable. So promotion at the Hawthorns?
That's probably unrealistic with the run in we've got. If you offered me the league looking like it does now going in to the final game I'd take it, and back us to beat QPR. | | | |
